About Me

My name is Vanessa Coote. I am an Instructor at Florida A&M University (FAMU) and Computer Science Program Coordinator in the Computer and Information Sciences Department. I was a programming for almost 6 years before joining the faculty at FAMU. I was also a junior college and high school teacher in my native country, Belize.

On a more fun note, I am an avid baseball fan (Cubs fan) who is interested in every baseball season. I’m at 7 and hope to be at 9 by the end of the season . I am also a self-proclaimed NASA junkie. I have visited the Kennedy Space Center (KSC) at least 7 time and plan to make another visit soon.
